Background: Having lived and worked in developing countries since the early 1980s, this Finn understands international development from both research, work and personal life. Linda is currently Researcher at the International NGO Training and Research Centre INTRAC in Oxford, UK. Since her first job ever at Finnish Training Partners in Helsinki, she has used her drawing skills to liven up and enrich publications. Currently, her pictures are used in presentations, books, manuals, papers and in real-time conference feedback sessions. With a BA in Swahili and Development Studies (SOAS, London) and an MSc in developing country trade and industry (IDPM, Manchester), Linda has a sound grasp of economic, political and social development.
